We are a wife and husband team, Ariana and Joseph Langham-Ballerini. We founded Tōne Sound-Massage-Energy to bring the varied benefits of deep relaxation to Elizabethtown, PA and surrounding communities.
Our 153 E High St. location is a beautiful facility with two private treatment rooms, a sound sanctuary and event space, and a relaxing sauna room. We offer Sound Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, Reiki Sessions, Group Sound Meditations and more.

Ours is a no tipping facility. You pay one price, no hidden fees, no forced gratuities. We keep our prices as low as possible to be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. All are welcome here.
Please note: Our space is on the lower level of an old church. If you have difficulty with stairs, please contact us and we can see if we can accomodate you at home, or make other more accessible recommendations. Plans are in the works for a lift to make our facility accessible to all.

Joseph and Ariana met as actors at the Sterling Renaissance Festival. She was a lady in waiting, he a knight. They became the best of friends and remained so for the three seasons they performed there. Joseph was interested in studying to be a massage therapist during the second season, and wouldn't you know it, Ariana was already enrolled in a massage program and learning the basics of Reiki. It was during the third season that Ariana gave Joseph a Reiki session, and in his relaxed state, he had a dream that Queen Elizabeth gave him permission to marry the beautiful lady in waiting. When the session was finished, she asked how it was. He said, it's confirmed, I'm in love with you. Three years later, they're newly wed, happily call Etown home, and live in their first house with their adorable dog, Mortimer. Oh, and the actor that played Queen Elizabeth was their officiant at the oppulent Grandview Vineyards!
Ariana is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki II practioner. She studied at the Cortiva Institute of Massage. She is also a professional actor, and musical theatre performer, and is thrilled to bring her creativity to play in her sessions in both massage and Reiki.
Joseph was Valedictorian of the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Rochester, NY, and is certified as a Vibrational Sound Therapist through the Vibrational Sound Association. He is also a recent graduate of Soundwise Health School of Harmonic Therapy in Lancaster, PA under the tutelage of local legend Lana Ryder. He's also an award winning actor, published playwright, and prolific singer song-writer.

Relaxation is Healing
Vibrational Sound Therapy
VST is a fully clothed, no touch protocol where therapeutic grade hand hammered Himalayan singing bowls are placed in various positions on the body and struck gently and rhythmically creating overtones for the ear, and grounding vibrations for the body. The sessions typically result in deep relaxed body/mind states where the body's natural healing process is able to take over, easing pain, and reducing negative emotions. It is quite a delightful journey by iteslf or in combination with Massage and/or Energy Therapy.
Individual or Couples Private Sound Journey
The client(s) are provided comfortable nesting with heated tables, blankets and eye pillows as several overtone rich instruments create a soundscape in a safe environment to explore where the sounds may take them. Each journey is unique taylored to the needs and intent of the client(s).
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is a blanket term for all massage modalities. It has been shown to reduce pain and stress, and is often used in conjunction with western and chiropractic medicines to target and treat specific, problematic areas of the body. A really fine massage can be either energizing or relaxing depending upon the needs of the client. Our massages are excellent alone or in conjunction with Sound and/or Energy Therapy.
Energy Therapy
Our Energetic Therapies are based on the principles of Reiki, Chakra Balancing, and self informed energetic practices. Using our hands, pendulums, crystals and tuning forks, we aim to hold the energetic space so that our clients can begin to be in harmony with themselves and their surroundings. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words. Rei means "God's Wisdom" and Ki means "life force energy". The Chakra system originated in India between 1500, and 500 BC. Chakra Balancing focuses on channelling energy into the seven Chakras. Our tuning forks are placed on Meridian lines of the body which is Chinese in origin. It is our opinion that all of life is energetically vibrational in nature, and deep relaxed states of mind can be achieved through these modalities.
